Make Today Your Independence Day

Happy 4th of July. Today is Independence Day for the U.S., and as we celebrate with barbeques and fireworks, it’s good to think about the meaning of independence. There’s a complicated history here in the United States, but there are some ways our freedom and independence go hand in hand. Can you mark today as your independence day?

Independence from Financial Worry

It’s a tough market out there. Even with some wages increasing, they can’t keep up with inflation, which is growing fast. There is no magic pill, but there are ways to ensure that you remain in the best shape possible as we begin to face new financial challenges. If you’re concerned about your current credit, now is the time to get a handle on it.

Understanding Your Credit Scores

It seems crazy that three numbers can influence everything about our financial lives. Those numbers represent your ability to pay back loans and give lenders and creditors a lot of power. Credit scores range between 300 and 850; the higher, the better. Anything below 580 is considered poor, and above 800 is exceptional. Most people fall in the middle range from fair to good to very good.

Your credit score can be affected by many things, and sometimes you don’t even know what they are. It’s always a good idea to check your credit report periodically to ensure that your finances remain healthy.

Using Credit Repair

If you discover your credit is not where you want it to be, now is the time to make a positive change. Whether the reasons are due to financial hardships or surprises in your report, there is no shame in getting the help you need. Credit repair isn’t a magic wand, but you work with your counselor to achieve results. To learn more, check out Best Credit RX’s process.

Celebrating the 4th of July

Today is a day for independence, financial or otherwise. It was the day our young nation declared independence from the crown and became the United States. We celebrate with cookouts and fireworks. Here are a few fun things you can do with your family today.

  • Watch your local fireworks display
  • Pack a picnic and visit a park
  • Celebrate with friends and neighbors
  • Teach your kids to save their pennies

Happy 4th of July from Dale and Best Credit RX.
